IT Associate
Summary (Basic Purpose of the Job):
The IT Associate position is an entry-level role within our Information Technology (IT) department. As an IT Associate, you will work closely with experienced IT professionals to support various IT functions and projects across the organization. This role is ideal for recent college graduates or individuals with limited IT experience but a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of technology.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Relevant internships or work experience in IT support or related roles is advantageous but not required.
Other Credentials:
Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or similar are a plus but not required.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.
Basic understanding of IT fundamentals and principles is a plus.
Special Training:
On-the-job training will be provided to familiarize with specific systems and processes.

Essential Functions:
Technical Support:
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve IT-related problems.
Collaborate with IT team members to deploy and upgrade IT infrastructure components, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Project Participation:
Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
Assist in the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
Security and Compliance:
Learn and adhere to IT security policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Assist in implementing security measures and monitoring compliance with established policies.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to support continuous learning and professional development.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work effectively with IT team members and other departments to support IT initiatives.
Communicate effectively with end-users to understand and resolve their IT issues.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other IT-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the IT management team.
Assist in inventory management and tracking of IT assets.
Provide input on improving IT processes and user experiences.
