The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for creating a fun and inviting space for our senior residents to workout. You would be maintaining the fitness rooms and equipment, assuring safety and cleanliness of all fitness facilities, promoting active resident participation in appropriate exercise and physical activities programs.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prefer Bachelor’s degree or higher in exercise science/exercise physiology OR related field.
- Prefer current ACSM Certification or current NCCA-accredited, health/fitness-related certifications (e.g., ACE, NCSF, NSCA, Cooper Institute).
- Prefer Certification in senior fitness/strength training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting for approximately 60% of work day. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to push residents weighing up to 250 lbs. in gerichairs and/or wheelchairs; good visual and hearing acuity required; may be exposed to communicable diseases, and blood and bodily fluids that may contain HIV and/or HBV; may be exposed to industrial and household cleaners and offensive odors.
Salary : $20 - $22
