Classification: Non-exempt (Hourly)
Mon - Fri (6am-2:30pm)

Job Summary:
Execute duties given by Shipping and Receiving Manager. Properly carry out warehouse duties as assigned. Oversees warehouse functions to ensure systems are running properly and efficiently.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload material from vehicles such as flatbed, conestoga (with assistance), and van trailers.
- Tag and organize inventory.
- Move material within the facility and organize inventory to best utilize space and ensure efficiency in the shipping/receiving process.
- Operate overhead crane and fork truck to load and unload material and to move material within the plant.
- Responsible for bundle splitting using banding tools, fork truck, and overhead crane.
- Perform quality checks with measuring tools and enter in logbook.
- Perform computer functions in Plex including inventory lookup and customer truck shipper (CTS) and internal plant shipper (IPS).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- General computer experience required.
- Fork truck and overhead crane experience preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong general computer skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Ability to perform basic math functions and accurately use tape measure and other measuring tools
- Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Ability to stand for an entire shift to perform job functions
- Excessive walking throughout the production facility during entire shift to locate steel and perform functions at both bays
- Physical activity such as bending, reaching, and twisting while pushing and pulling bars of steel or securing bundles of steel
- Ability to safely ascend and descend steps or ladders to access trucks to perform loading and unloading functions and to access and operate fork trucks
- Ability to work atop of uneven surfaces to move and secure bundles of steel
- Ability to frequently lift 15-85 pounds of steel bars repeatedly
- Constant exposure to machinery and loud noises
