Duties, Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- The ideal credentialing specialists must complete a variety of tasks in verifying and maintaining licensure and other information for our healthcare facilities. The credentialing specialist maintains and inputs new information or update existing information regarding, physicians, facilities, equipment and governmental and insurance payer requirements. The ability to be proactive and critically think ahead is imperative for this position. processes, regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of MS Office; expert in Microsoft Excel. . It is imperative that this candidate possess the ability to maintain confidentiality on all financial and sensitive information.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma
- Some college preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written are essential as these specialists spend a lot of time communicating with doctors, healthcare administrators, higher education institutions and government officials.
- Good time management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Good human relations skills
- Should be detail-oriented.
- An organized decision-maker with the ability to work both independently and in teams.

General working hours: Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm
