Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dishwasher/Busser to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment. The ideal candidate will support food service operations by ensuring dishes are properly cleaned, tables are promptly cleared, and the dining area remains welcoming for guests. Previous restaurant experience, including food handling, catering, or banquet experience, is a plus but not required. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic kitchen support and catering setup
- Support food service staff by bussing tables and ensuring the dining area remains clean and organized
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas through regular cleaning duties
- Assist with banquet or catering events by setting up tables, serving guests, and cleaning up afterward
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming environment for guests
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of bussing, food preparation, and general kitchen operations is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards guest service
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting dishes or moving supplies
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards in food service settings
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
