Business Development / Call Center Representative
Hybrid to Remote Position,
with the opportunity for minimal required in-office hours at our Car City 28th Street location after successful completion of training.
Business Development / Call Center Representatives at Car City are responsible for handling all incoming phone calls and internet leads, as well as setting and confirming sales appointments and performing long-term follow-up on all unsold customers (e.g., internet leads, showroom visits, and incoming calls). We have decided to add another team player to our Business Development Center (BDC)!
Business Development / Call Center Representative Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication (phone, email or text).
- Manage Internet sales leads, phone leads and chat leads.
- Respond to inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for the Sales staff and other designated personnel.
- Follow up on electronic applications.
- Handle all incoming calls and route to correct departments.
- Assist other departments when needed and other duties as assigned to conduct business.
Essential Functions / Requirements:
- Customer service experience (call center a plus).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Full-time availability, 40 hours Mon-Fri between the hours of 8am-8pm with 2 Saturdays per month from 9am-3pm (i.e., set 40-hour weekly schedule unless the needs of the business change and overtime as needed).
- Adhere and abide by Company hybrid / remote work requirements and expectations for this position.
- Computer literacy and ability to quickly learn processes and systems while using dual monitors.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while paying strict attention to detail.
- Ability to persuade and influence others including encouraging and motivating staff.
- Self-motivated with goal orientation to work well as a team or individually.
- Ability to overcome objections with ease and get through required work list/tasks/assignments as expected.
- Adhere to compliance requirements and complete training as necessary.
