COVID Vaccination Requirement for Candidates Seeking Employment: Carbon Health, as both a healthcare provider and a federal contractor, is subject to certain laws, regulations and orders requiring its workforce to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and its variants. Carbon Health has therefore implemented a requirement that all employees be fully vaccinated. We are searching for a Medical Assistant who is comfortable working in a fast paced, primarily electronic environment. Tasks include verifying patient information, obtaining consent, collection support to the practitioner, and conducting nasal swab Covid-19 testing. You will be responsible for ensuring infection control.
Location: 220 6th Ave. Seattle WA
Work hours: 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM (may change due to business needs).
Schedule: 30 hours | Full-Time
What You'll Do
- Check-in and verify patient information
- Collect Covid-19 nasal swab specimen, handle and label properly with accurate patient information
- Ensure a sanitary environment through collection support
- Run Abbott machines
About You
- Current certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program (completed externship)
- Current BLS certification
- Experience as a medical assistant
- Prior experience with swabbing preferred
- Familiarity of Apple products, specifically iPads and Chromebooks
- Comfortable troubleshooting connectivity issues
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed; flexibility with availability
- Comfortable working outdoors and under minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate in multiple language skills is helpful
