What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician position at Carbon Valley Eye Care?
Private optometry practice is seeking a positive, team-oriented candidate who can work closely with our patients, doctors and other staff members. Our office is dedicated to exceptional customer service, so excellent people skills is a must. The right candidate will be detail oriented, organized and have excellent communication skills. Experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Compensation is based upon experience.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
*Initial work up of patients such as gathering chief complaint, ocular and systemic history, past family and social history.
*Measuring visual acuities, intraocular pressures, tonometry, retinal photos, OCT.
*Checking in contact lenses and contacting patients.
*Other clerical tasks as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
