Overview of Responsibilities:
The trader will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of a physical natural gas trading book. The trader will report to the Vice President of Trading and will play a critical role in the success of CarbonBetter. This trader will either be located in their market area, or Austin, TX.

Specific Responsibilities
- Identify new opportunities as markets evolve
- Drive consistent P&L results
- Build and cultivate relationships in the physical natural gas markets
- Enter deals timely in CarbonBetter’s ETRM
- Communicate clearly to facilitate scheduling, mid and back office functions
- Expert level knowledge of pipelines and the flow of gas
- 5 years experience in the U.S. physical natural gas markets, with 2 years of trading experience
- Firm understanding of risk concepts
- Advanced problem solving and communication skills
- Demonstrable track record of success
