Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has an opening for a qualified Fine Arts Teacher to teach for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for high school Fine Arts. The High School Fine Arts Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art, Education, or related field.
- Three (3) years or more of experience.
- Excellent classroom management skills and have demonstrated ability to engage students.
- Strong presentation skills and knowledge with instructional technology, including iPads, in the classroom.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Exemplify professionalism in behavior and performance.
