General Cardiologist

Cardiology Physicians is a private practice of eleven cardiologists and a vascular surgeon who strive to provide the highest quality of cardiovascular services in the state of Delaware and its surrounding areas. We are seeking a general cardiologist to join our upcoming new office in Middletown, Delaware.

Practice Information

·        General noninvasive cardiology, some opportunity to subspecialize into areas of interest, but a majority of the role will be general cardiology

·        Joining a private cardiology group based in the northern Delaware area

·        Inclusive of outpatient, inpatient, and group/hospital call coverage

·        Joining 12 current physicians (5 Gen CD) (4 IC)(2 EP)(1VS), 6 APPs (1 NPR, 5 PA’s)

·        Schedule: 7a-5p Monday-Friday (4.5 day work week)

·        Volume: 20-30 Clinic patients per clinic full day

·        Call: Flexible, will participate in shared call with the group in Newark

·        Clinic: The primary clinic will be the Middletown Clinic with 50% spent there

• Middletown - 6,800 sq. ft., 9 treatment rooms, with full diagnostics, echo, vascular studies, PET/CT
• Other clinical coverage @ Newark (Abbey) and Wilmington (Foulk Rd)
• PET/CT suite on-site at Newark location 

·        Hospital/Inpatient Coverage: Covering 2 area hospitals

• ChristianaCare – Newark (Level 1), Christiana Care – Wilmington (Level 3)
• 24/7 Interventional cardiology support
• Cardiac surgery on staff - 24/7 coverage
• Comprehensive cardiac rehab & education programs
• Comprehensive cardiac imaging centers
