About the Role:
As a Lab Phlebotomist, you will play an essential role in supporting our invasive, non-invasive, and interventional cardiovascular practice. Working under the guidance of the Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will help ensure the smooth and accurate execution of daily lab operations, contributing to high-quality patient care and diagnostic efficiency.
How You’ll Drive Our Mission Forward:

Perform blood draws (venipuncture) and collect urine samples with accuracy and professionalism.

Prepare for the next day’s lab work by printing schedules from NextGen and recording all necessary orders, medical necessity documentation, and insurance details.

Accurately input patient data, tests ordered, and ID-10 codes into the LabDaq system.

Safely deliver patient samples to the hospital as needed, including for STAT bloodwork.

Efficiently route patients through the clinic using OMS when follow-up testing is required.

Ensure proper handling and documentation of specimens sent to the reference lab by entering details into Shared Data and tracking report receipt.

Contribute to clinic operations by performing additional duties as assigned, always aligned with CIS’s mission and patient-first philosophy.
What Makes You a Great Match:

High school diploma required.

Previous experience or formal training as a phlebotomist or medical assistant is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Strong organizational and data entry skills with attention to detail.
