POSITION SUMMARY
The Finance Consultant is responsible for reviewing Cardone Ventures’ clients’ financial reports, monitoring accounts, and preparing activity reports and financial forecasts. The Finance Consultant will also investigate ways to improve profitability and analyze markets for business opportunities, such as expansion, mergers, or acquisitions.
This individual will play a key role in assisting Cardone Ventures’ clients with achieving their transformational growth plans by setting objectives, planning business development strategies with other team members, and holding the members accountable to the plan. The successful incumbent will be well versed in the finance industry and will possess the ability to work and collaborate effectively within a highly fast-paced and team-centric environment.

OBJECTIVES
- Drive revenue and profit growth through coaching and strategy that are in alignment with the client’s personal, professional, and financial goals
- Conduct weekly/monthly follow-up with clients to determine the effectiveness of financial plans and fine-tune the tactics needed to increase profitability
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, and Professional Development, to develop monthly strategies, quarterly plans, and annual plans for clients
- Drive all financial management, planning, systems, and controls for clients, including income statements, balance sheets, budgeting, forecasts, and charts of accounts
- Manage the quarterly/annual budgeting, revenue forecasting, and financial review process for assigned Cardone Ventures clients
- Propose recommendations to improve clients’ profitability
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages, activity reports, and financial forecasts for clients
- Create incentive compensation plans for clients’ team members
- Collaborate with clients to set short- and long-term financial goals
- Create and deliver financial details and summaries to Cardone Ventures’ Leadership Team and clients
- Be responsible for directly and indirectly interacting with the Cardone Ventures Operations Team to improve all systems and processes that drive the financial success of the business

- Demonstration of an understanding of all aspects of a client’s business (revenue, profitability, profit margin, and primary initiatives for the quarter)
- Ability to develop accurate financial models, budgets, and financial reporting packages
- Ability to understand the client’s budget and roles within their team to develop individual incentive compensation plans
- Ability to make financial recommendations that will move the client’s business forward
- Incorporation of Cardone Ventures’ business philosophies and best practices when guiding clients
- Consideration of the business’s priorities when making decisions or analyzing the costs and benefits of various resource planning solutions
- Ability to achieve and maintain client trust and buy-in of financial strategies
- Ability to hold clients accountable for actionable steps through effective relationship building, leadership, and influence
- Ability to speak clearly and be easily understood, ability to maintain eye contact when speaking with others, and ability to summarize or paraphrase to verify understanding
- Ability to exercise confidentiality as it relates to all business and client information
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related area of study, or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of work experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a consulting capacity
- Substantial experience with project management software (e.g., Asana) and G Suite (Google Slides and Google Docs)
- Experience using QuickBooks
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
