Role Description
This is an internship role for a Donor Relations Officer (Volunteer). The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for managing donor relationships, coordinating planned and annual giving efforts, and promoting philanthropy. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with donors, developing donor relations strategies, and assisting with fundraising activities. This is a hybrid role, meaning the position is located in Rahway, NJ, but some work from home is acceptable. Paid position will be available in December.
Qualifications
- Experience in Planned Giving and Annual Giving
- Knowledge of philanthropy practices and principles
- Strong Communication skills and ability to manage Donor Relations
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to the mission and values of Care Collective
- Previous experience in nonprofit or fundraising roles is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
