Primary Function
The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner serves as a consultant to operations on human resource related issues within Women & Infants Hospital. The Sr. HR Business Partner is an employee champions and strategic change agent. This role is responsible for implementing and enforcing the strategic HR direction at the guidance of the Sr. HR Director in the areas of recruitment, training and development, change management, employee relations, compensation, and benefits. Collaborates with members of not only the Women & Infants HR team, but also front-line management. Regularly interacting with managers to assess and anticipate HR-related needs and issues.
Specifications
Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or other related field with five to seven plus years of experience in Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Certification in at least one major HR discipline such as PHR, SPHR, CEBS, CCP, or CBP preferred. Labor relations experience and familiarity with the collective bargaining grievance process, problem resolution, and experience in union contract negotiations are a must.
Strong conflict resolution skills are required as well as excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Must have knowledge of MS office products, Excel, Word, Power-point, and working knowledge of HRIS and ATS Systems. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required.
