Mission
As a part of the Assiciate Degree Nursing Department which provides services that meet the needs of all active and graduated students, the Administrative Assistant interacts with students and provides academic, professional, and personal guidance.
Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to the following general responsibility, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for the following duties:
- Provide general information and services to the students
- Type letters as directed
- File paperwork
- Data entry using Diamond D
- Greet students and clients
- General office duties
- Keep confidential school documents out of view
- Maintain area at Nursing Station in a neat and orderly appearance
- Cooperate with the Campus Director and other CCI staff including Admissions, Financial Aid, Career Services, Student Services, etc.
- Clock in and out.
- Assist students
- Help students contact requested or appropriate personnel
- Assist students in acquiring requested information
- Attend all required meetings
- Plan meetings and take detailed meeting minutes
- Report any major problems to the Director of Nursing
- Uphold and enforce school policies
- Demonstrate professional behavior and demeanor at all times with students and staff
- Maintain appropriate confidentially with staff and student issues
- Avoid using cellphones
- Provide notice of extended leave well in advance
- Fill out mandatory employee weekly reports each Friday

Qualifications and Skills
- Post-Secondary Education Credentials and/or 1 year experience in related field
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills Ability to work on a team and work independently
- Detail orientated and well-organized
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work on a team and work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time

Experience:
- Microsoft: 3 years (Preferred)
- Administrative Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
