Responsibilities include executing changes to CATIA models and drawings, participating in trade studies, creating and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and collaborating with subcontractors and other Integrated Product Teams. The position also requires mentoring junior engineers in an unofficial lead-like capacity. Basic qualifications include U.S. citizenship, a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering, recent experience with 3DX, CATIA V5, or Solidworks, and airframe/structural layout and design experience. Desired skills include knowledge of metallic and/or composite structural design, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, tolerance studies, and the ability to lead in a team environment.
