The Lead Application Analyst for Actimize is responsible for overseeing assigned projects and supporting high-complexity initiatives using expert knowledge of the business domain, banking practices, and Actimize application functionality. This role requires a strong understanding of the systems life cycle, systems integration, data flows, and reporting tools. The decisions made by the incumbent significantly impact the organization and the operational effectiveness of the Technology Department.
The primary responsibilities include collaborating with business units to identify requirements, conducting gap analysis on current systems, and prioritizing issues. The Lead Application Analyst works closely with the technology team to convey and interpret requirements, analyze data, and evaluate solutions. Strong data analysis skills are essential for this role. The incumbent is responsible for preparing business and functional requirement documents, creating test cases and scripts, executing tests, and documenting results.
The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience as an application analyst in the financial industry, specifically in AML (Anti-Money Laundering). They should also have a minimum of 5 years of working experience as an Actimize application analyst, with a solid understanding of Actimize ActOne, SAM, IFM, CDD-X, and WLF solutions. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, specifically from a query perspective on SQL Server, is required. Additionally, the candidate should possess a solid understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process and AML concepts related to transaction monitoring, KYC/CIP, CDD, OFAC, CTR, and suspicious activity reporting. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
