What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver with CDL position at Career Opportunities?
Morningstar Living is currently hiring a Driver for our Moravian Hall Square Campus in Nazareth, PA. The Driver position is responsible for transporting our residents to appointments and events. This opportunity is a part-time opportunity. Benefits include:

The primary purpose of the Transportation Driver with CDL position is to operate vehicles in a safe and secure manner while transporting residents to various medical appointments, community functions, and entertainment events.
What will I do as a Driver?
- Report to Morningstar Living, Inc. at least 15 minutes before transport to prepare vehicle for operation, check directions, etc. Check in after each transport is completed.
- Transport residents to and from various functions such as medical appointments, community functions and entertainment events.
- Remain with resident(s) until the return to Morningstar Living, Inc. unless resident is independent and does not require assistance or an escort is present.
- Complete all necessary transportation paper work with Morningstar Living, Inc. personnel. Keep accurate records of time, mileage, or other required information.
What do I need to be a Driver?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a current, valid CDL License with a Passenger Endorsement in good standing.
- Must be in good physical condition with a current Medical Examiners Certificate.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to resident needs.
- Must be honest, reliable, punctual, and able to work well with residents and employees of other departments.
- Willing to be "on call" and have a telephone at place of residence and/or cell phone.
- Must have or be willing to maintain current CPR certification.
