The financial planning and analysis team is responsible for contributing to the financial planning, budgeting, strategic planning, and monthly reporting activities at the consolidated level pertaining to the income statement, cash flow and balance sheet. This position will assist in providing income statement analysis for G&A departments within the company as well as establishing appropriate forecast expectations. The position will research, retrieve, and analyze financial data for internal and external customers. The role will also have responsibility for providing occasional support of special projects and ad hoc reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements tracking actuals, key drivers, and performance metrics. Provide detailed financial and operational analytics. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
- Work with G&A leaders to establish budget and forecast expectations
- Prepare monthly journal entries to amortize prepaid software, accrue expenses and ensure the appropriate classification of all G&A expenses
- Ad-hoc projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- Undergraduate Degree required. Minimum 1 to 3 years of related experience. Basic understanding of financial analysis, modeling, reporting and generally accepted accounting principles. Knowledge of Microsoft D365, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is highly desired.
- Persuasive written and verbal communication and organization skills are critical. Experience in presenting and discussing financial information with Sr. business and financial Leaders is a plus.
- Experience in Hospitality and/or Timeshare industries is very helpful, but not required. Must work well in a fast-paced changing environment and work well under time constraints. Must have an ability to work with different cultures.
