Title: Ultrasound Tech
Location: Lewiston, Idaho
Contract: 3 months
Shift: Start Time: 7:00 AM End Time: 3:30 PM
Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
Facility Requirements:
Must have ARDMS Adult Echo, CCI RCS certification, this must be attached to the submission packet
Must have BLS certifications, must be attached to the submission packet (must be through the American Heart Association)
Must have 2 years recent Echo Tech experience
