Job Description

JMA Solutions is offering an exciting opportunity for a Summer Intern to join our team. We are a dynamic federal contracting company looking to have someone assist the following departments: Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology (IT), and Marketing, providing valuable experiences to interns in a collaborative environment.

Position Overview: As a Program Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, including Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology (IT), and Marketing. This internship is designed to provide exposure to various aspects of our operations while supporting key projects and initiatives.

Some Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

Assist with filing HR documents and maintaining records.

Prepare orientation packets for new employees.

Support the organization of Health & Wellness Seminars. Assist in staffing and recruiting activities.

Undertake additional HR tasks as assigned.

Information Technology (IT):

Assist in organizing the IT storage room.
Collaborate on various IT projects and tasks.

Marketing:

Update company website content as needed.

Assist in managing social media platforms and content updates.

Edit and proofread marketing documents.

Support marketing initiatives for upcoming conferences.

Manage inventory related to marketing materials.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma with at least one year of administrative support experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Prior experience in any of the departments mentioned is a plus.

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Must be located in or able to commute to Washington, D.C.
