Job Summary:
AV-Rated litigation firm in the Kendall/Dadeland area seeking an associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience with insurance defense geared towards auto, slip and fall, general negligence cases.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Provides legal advice and representation to our Carriers
· Prepares and files briefs, motions, and other necessary judicial pleadings
· Deposes witnesses and further facilitates the discovery process
· Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Admission to the Florida bar and in good standing
· Experience in litigation in general liability, premises, and insurance defense
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
