CarePath Injury Centers is Seeking a full-time Clinical Care Assistant for our injury, accident and pain management practice located in Hazleton, PA.

Who We are Looking for: We are looking for a detail-oriented Clinical Care Assistant who is passionate about helping those in need and creating a welcoming environment. You will work closely with the medical professionals in the office and will be responsible for patient check-in, and patient checkout. Someone who is an effective communicator, reliable, and eager to learn/adapt will do well in this role. We'd love if you have previous experience in the medical field, but are open to those who want to learn!
Job Details include:
- As a Clinical Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to our clinical staff and assist in delivering exceptional patient care

- Responsible for maintaining knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures
- Responsible for patient check-in and paperwork, check-out and scheduling within our EHR system
- Helping patients get setup or their appointments, checking them in, rooming, and scribing as needed
- Assisting providers with prep for appointments and procedures of acupuncture, injection therapies, etc.
- Learning various pain procedures and operating a fluoroscopy machine
- Daily responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, scheduling patients in the EHR system, assisting medical professionals with therapy care for patients, following sanitary protocols, cleaning up exam rooms/main office area as needed, etc.
- Creating a kind, welcoming, supportive and helpful atmosphere to both the patients and staff members
- Responsible for helping grow the patient base and practice through exceptional care & service
- Effectively communicating with office staff members, and with supervisors
- Other duties that arise as the office needs
Job Requirements:
- Ability to learn office operations from front desk to patient clinical care
- Familiarity with EHR systems
- Ability to learn and operate an EHR (Electronic Health Records System)
- Ability to effectively communicate with in-office personnel, patients, and other company members
- Ability to take and follow direction from supervisors
- Able to commute to Hazleton, PA on a daily basis with reliable transportation
- Knowledge of treating patients in the injury and accident space preferred
- Background check authorization & required documents must be completed prior to onboarding
- Comfortability to use translation and communicate with Spanish-Speaking Patients

Schedule:
Full-time Mon-Fri
Compensation:
- $17-20 /hr dependent on experience
- PTO Package
- Healthcare Stipend
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
