What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at CarePoint Christian Counseling?
CarePoint Christian Counseling is looking for an Administrative Assistant to work part-time—15-20 hours per week. The Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact for our clients, and, as such, will be able to convey warmth and understanding while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Organizational skills are a must, as this role oversees the schedule of many therapists. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record software is a plus.
Duties of the Administrative Assistant are as follows:
- Complete telephone intake with potential clients, ensuring timely scheduling and/or referral
- Handle phone calls for existing clients, addressing scheduling and other non-clinical needs
- Oversee wait-lists for therapists, as applicable
- Input client demographic information in electronic medical record software
- Manage incoming/outgoing faxes, email, snail mail as needed
- Ensure professional appearance of office environment
- Maintain minutes for staff meetings
- Create marketing materials for groups, services, etc. as needed
- Other duties as assigned
