CarePro Home Medical-Coralville has an opportunity for a full-time Customer Care Coordinator to join our team!
In this role, you will be responsible for patient intake and customer service as well as assisting our customers with equipment and supplies to meet their medical needs.
This position is scheduled 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Our ideal candidate will be dependable, demonstrate professionalism and teamwork, and be able to provide exceptional customer service both in person and on the phone.

What You’ll Do:
- Obtain orders from patients/customers by phone or in person for delivery, pick-up, discontinuance, maintenance, or changes in service
- Assist patients/customers with medical equipment and supplies to meet their medical needs, as well as aid in adjusting, training, and demonstrating the use of equipment as necessary
- Accurately and promptly complete order forms, determine charges and coverage for service requested, collect co-pays, and enter data into the appropriate information system
- Work closely with physicians, referral sources, and other medical professionals regarding demographic and medical information, while protecting patient privacy
- Receive inventory, restock retail floor, and label products
- Answer and respond to phone calls and assist retail customers
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience in the home medical equipment field
- Knowledge of Medicare rules and insurance reimbursement is a plus
- Strong computer skills are required to enter patient information into the data system, the ability to utilize online resources, and competency with Microsoft and the Internet
- Attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork skills are essential
