What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient MRI Front Desk Coordinator position at CareWell Health?
Busy and fast-paced outpatient hospital-based radiology office with heavy phones and patient volume. Applicants should be able to multitask and work well in a team setting. Prefer knowledge of the scheduling process for personal injury/no-fault appointments. Bilingual Spanish a plus.
Essential Functions
- Answering Phone calls.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Verifying the Pre-certifications.
- Coordinating transportation.
- Patient Intake.
- Sending the Results to physician offices and attorneys if needed.
- Making Sure all precertification documents are obtained and uploaded to the system to process billing.
- Processing medical records request.

Minimum Education/Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, or a related field preferred
Minimum Work Experience
3 to 5 years

Must be willing to work holidays, weekends and provide additional coverage as needed
