Role Description

Carga is seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for marketing and an eagerness to utilize innovative tools and techniques for connecting with clients, growing brands, and creating leads. This role offers swift upward mobility, and if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are self-motivated, and take prideful ownership in your work, we want to hear from you. This is a full-time, in-person role, reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for brand elevation and lead creation, collaborating with various teams to execute marketing strategies and campaigns.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and writing skills with great attention to detail
  • Project management expertise with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience in the maritime, oil & gas and/or SaaS industries is a plus
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • A self-motivated, high achieving disposition with a passion for effective & differentiating marketing
  • Is business outcome minded, performance driven, resourceful, creative, and excited about digging deeper into marketing developments


Responsibilities 

  • Generate and produce innovative marketing campaigns for email, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Translate maritime SaaS products and concepts into visually compelling presentations and collateral including ads, presentations, videos, social media posts, long and short form articles, and press releases  
  • Oversee lead-generation activities, including digital content marketing and email campaigns, tracking and measuring its effectiveness, utilizing lists, workflows and automations in HubSpot, reporting on KPIs, replying to LinkedIn comments and creating on-line conversations
  • Assist in scheduling and execution of trade shows, webinars, conferences, seminars, and local networking events to stay updated on industry developments, marketing opportunities and amplify messaging, support pre- and post-event (registration, planning, follow-up campaigns), leadership & coordination
  • Support customer survey process, analyzing and sharing results with Sales, Product and Management, using feedback to recommend new or improved marketing and sales strategies, track & organize UTMs, form submissions (CSAT/NPS)
  • Stay updated on market developments, events, competitors, and news and communicate with Sales, Product and Management teams accordingly, assisting with timely thought leadership articles
  • Seek and develop creative industry marketing opportunities to engage and grow the company brand 
  • Draft and edit compelling long and short form content, format, tag, and distribute content to multiple audiences across media platforms – website, intranet, email marketing, social media, media publications, etc. 
  • Execute and maintain website announcements, blog posts, SEO, GEO, analytics, Google Console, branding, and lead generation tools   
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our products to obtain complete fluency in our technologies and solutions 
  • Maintain brand integrity and consistency across all platforms 
  • Compile data, metrics, and reports for email marketing, website, and social media initiatives for analyzing campaign effectiveness and engagement
  • Conduct appropriate marketing and competitive research and analysis when needed 

 

Minimum Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years experience in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Experience with sales, marketing and graphic design software (i.e., HubSpot, Canva, Adobe Suite)
  • Experience writing effective long and short form content creation and managing social media accounts for businesses (LinkedIn preferred) 
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a strong understanding of social media marketing and email marketing strategies. 
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content tailored to different audiences. 
  • Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems is preferred. 
  • Strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
