This on-site position located in our 600,000 sq ft headquarters in Independence, Missouri,

Key Responsibilities
Perform weekly payroll processing and oversee related compliance and process
improvements
Participate in month-end close, including complex journal entries, variance analysis, and
executive-level financial reporting
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring robust controls and audit
readiness
Partner with the Controller on monthly financial statements, forecasts, and strategic
planning
Design and enhance management reports for senior leadership
Provide authoritative guidance on accounting and financial questions through advanced
data analysis
Prepare daily deposit account reconciliations and serve as primary backup for accounts
payable
Support annual physical inventory and external audit
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
4 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with exposure to multi-entity
environments
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills And Payroll Processing Experience Preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) a plus
Demonstrated ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and drive process improvements
Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset
Proven track record of initiative, leadership, and readiness for advancement.
