What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estate Crew position at Caring Transitions?
Experience working with Estate Sale companies, Auctions or eBay reseller. Retail manager or Real Estate Agents are a big plus - Need a passion for helping others.
Finding treasures in a family's home as we help them sort through the maze of some amazing things, it's like a treasure hunt!
Are you an individual who is able to effectively problem-solve? Work independently with minimal supervision?
Caring Transitions of Greater Worcester provides Senior adults and their families with much-needed services such as:
Downsizing and sorting through their home.
Determining what is a donation and what is an item of value to sell on our online estate auction.
Packing and unpacking to resettle a client into a retirement community.
The position in out in the field, everyday we are at a new town in Worcester County.
We are also always looking for Great Talent with a passion for what we do that could work into a leadership role.
Compensation:
$18.00 per hour to start with no industry experience as a team member, $20.00 or more with estate sale / auction/ photography and or relocation industry experience. Have management experience or would like to grow into a position, we can discuss more with Extensive Experience and or manager bonus. As you excel at your own pace, you can earn more with the growth of responsibilities, as we are always on the hunt for talent to help us grow with great talent.
Offering Flexible scheduling, lead to more hours or full-time for the right candidate. Complete Industry Training Provided.
Responsibilities:
Sort through a client’s house to determine what’s a donation, what’s of value to be sold, or what is to be trashed
Selecting household items to be grouped into lots and photographed for online auction sales, house cleanout.
Safely pack/unpack and resettle the client’s household items at the new residence
Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts, with flexible scheduling
Ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions at the job site
Have stamina and drive and be able to resolve problem situations.
Other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications:
Reliable transportation
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Google Pictures app.
Ability to interact with co-workers and function well in a team environment
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
