Shipping and Receiving Clerk Qualifications: Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, proficient computer skills and experience working in shipping. Must have the ability to work in our foundry manufacturing facility.
Duties and Responsibilities: Must have the ability to prepare and or receive shipments in a manufacturing environment.
- Follow all process and procedures for shipment requirements.
- Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
- Deliver or route materials to departments using pallet jack, cart, hand truck, forklift.
- Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as certifications, manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
- Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
- Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
- Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools etc.
- Receive and log in all incoming freight.
- Maintain assurance of quality in packing and or handling of products being shipped or received.
- Meet company set production standards without jeopardizing quality
- Follow all safety and security rules
- Keeps work area clean and organized
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

PAY we offer TOP PAY for experience up to $25.59 per hour
HOURS 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at times mandatory overtime
