Carlos & Harley’s is a well-known Tex-Mex restaurant in Ogden Valley. As new owners of the restaurant, we intend to keep it unique, fun and an amazing place for locals and visitors to enjoy. We want to preserve the historical building vibes and continue to give back to the community. We also want to make sure our staff gets the best possible pay and benefits so everyone can live a balanced, fulfilled life at work and outside of work.

The inside of the restaurant was recently revamped and will be getting a phased full remodel over the next two years. The head chef has upgraded the menu and there are plans to offer new and exciting cocktails soon.

We are looking for amazing people to join our team and take the restaurant to the next level.

Job Summary

We are looking for friendly, outgoing Bartenders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring bar area is clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus, taking guest orders and serving food/beverages. Creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests. Building relationships with regulars and encouraging them to come back. Knowledge of signature drinks and various beer/liquor offered on the menu.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bar with special attention to cleanliness
• Attend to customers upon entrance into the bar
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders
• Make all alcoholic beverages ordered
• Stock the bar regularly
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment

Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience
• Hands-on experience as a cashier
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• High school diploma is a plus
• Current food handlers permit

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
