Carlos & Harley’s is a well-known Tex-Mex restaurant in Ogden Valley. As new owners of the restaurant, we intend to keep it unique, fun and an amazing place for locals and visitors to enjoy. We want to preserve the historical building vibes and continue to give back to the community. We also want to make sure our staff gets the best possible pay and benefits so everyone can live a balanced, fulfilled life at work and outside of work.
The inside of the restaurant was recently revamped and will be getting a phased full remodel over the next two years. The head chef has upgraded the menu and there are plans to offer new and exciting cocktails soon.

Job Summary
We are looking for a Hostess to support our wait staff. Responsibilities are greeting guests, seating them with Menus, answer the phones and assisting with takeout orders. The Hostess is the first impression of the restaurant and sets the tone for the guest experience. We are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing and enjoys meeting new people.
Responsibilities
- Clean the hostess area and menus
- Greet clients and seat them at their table with menus
- Answer the phone
- Prep takeout orders
- Collect takeout order payment
- Sweep the floors often
- Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
- Assist in shift closing work
Requirements
- Work experience as a Hostess, Busser, Food Runner or another entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
