What are the responsibilities and job description for the Liquid Freight Handler/Load Out Operator position at Carlyle Cocoa Company LLC?
Carlyle Cocoa, a cocoa processing plant in Swedesboro, NJ is currently looking for a Liquid Freight Handler/Load Out Operator to safely and correctly move melted cocoa butter and cocoa liquor into food grade tanker trucks. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with overtime required to finish the last trucks.
Job responsibilities include:
Follow GMPs and all food safety procedures
Load product into bulk liquid tankers within a two hour timeframe
Complete necessary paperwork associated with each load out, working with Warehouse Supervisor as needed to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
Sample product for lab retention
Clean as necessary and as directed
If fork lift certified, provide assistance to Warehouse Supervisor as needed
Train new Load Out Operators
Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Manager, Plant Manager and/or Vice-President
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High school degree or equivalent
Relevant experience in either handling heavy machinery or in discharging/loading out liquid product
Excellent written and oral communications
Able to work a twelve hour shift when needed as well as weekends
Able to reach and understand load out schedule
Basic math and analytical skills
Attention to detail and good organization skills
Ability to fill out forms accurately and legibly
Adherence to prescribe food safety and quality assurances procedures as well as GMPs
Must be able to climb ladders and move up and down stairs as well as reach and bend and stretch
