JOB SUMMARY: This position oversees and is responsible for the documentation, oversight, and control of batch kit production and ingredient inventory. Responsible for managing the staff responsible for ingredient receiving, ingredient inventory control and the creation of kits for beverage batches.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees and coordinates the production of ingredient kits for beverage production.
- Works with customers to establish recipe formulation and kitting timelines.
- Oversees and is responsible for all ingredient inventory.
- Coordinates and verifies regular ingredient inventory counts as required. Coordinates and verifies material and supply inventory for Ingredient Control operations. Directs personnel in the accomplishment of these tasks.
- Reports ingredient inventory counts and ingredient loss reporting.
- Oversees and coordinates the movement and storage of ingredients and finished kits.
- Oversees ingredient receiving department and works closely with the Planning Department on load management.
- Directs employees in preparation of documentation for ingredients being picked up or shipped. Will also provide direction on staging of the ingredients and kits.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or required by the department head/customer.
- All other duties as assigned by manager or customer.

TYPICAL WORKING ENVIRONMENT: This position works entirely in a warehouse and production environments which includes high-speed equipment and damp floors. Noise, dust, and variable temperature and use of production chemicals is also typical in this work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associates Degree in appropriate field or comparable experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of operational and inventory control experience or equivalent.
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities: This position requires above average verbal and written communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of production operations and warehousing operations,
including all safety requirements. Must be goal oriented, and be able to work
independently. Must also be able to be licensed to operate forklift. Must also
have above average Customer Service skills dealing with both internal and
external customers.
