What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Services Coordinator II - Floater (Full Time) position at Carolina Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center?
With a strong customer service focus and commitment, the Clerical Floater is responsible for providing support in the office setting to achieve the highest standards of patient service and satisfaction. This is a floating position covering for all assigned practice departments. Duties include coordination of office based, hospital based and ambulatory facility appointments including: provider schedules, radiology, surgery, procedures and physical therapy appointments. Other duties include responsibility for obtaining pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for outpatient and inpatient surgical, radiological, and various other appointment types.
Requirements: This individual must be outgoing and sensitive to patient needs. Outstanding telephone communication skills, exceptional time management, and excellent attention to detail are required. Individual must be organized and able to manage a demanding workload with accuracy.
