What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician position at CarolinaPower?
Our Employee-Owned company has immediate full-time openings for Electricians in Charleston, SC. This position will work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal businesses and be part of an amazing and GROWING team! All positions are regular, full-time and benefits eligible.
Essential Duties
Electricians install and repair electrical systems in construction applications and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
Adhere to the National Electrical Code and be able to read and interpret manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and equipment specifications as well as properly using and maintaining hand and power tools along with electrical and electronic test equipment.
Strong communication skills are required along with the ability to use basic electronic technology for entering time and safety reports.
Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support goal of achieving zero accidents.
Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.
