Carpet Tech is seeking a passionate and community-focused individual to join our team as a Community Relations Representative. In this role, you will support and promote the Carpet Tech brand through various community engagement activities and relationship-building initiatives. You will work closely with local nonprofits to identify sponsorship opportunities and manage the activation of all sponsorships and events in addition to fostering relationships with the local business community.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute community engagement strategies to promote the Carpet Tech brand and foster positive relationships within the community.
• Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement.
• Evaluate and manage all incoming sponsorships and professional networking opportunities for various locations.
• Understand and ensure fulfillment of all strategic promotional events and sponsorships, coordinating staff, transportation, booth/table elements, and all promotional items.
• Travel to various regional locations to set up and activate events both weekdays and weekends.
• Creatively develop themes, booth ideas, collateral, and giveaways to enhance promotional presence and event success.
• In addition to community engagement, work with realtors, insurance agents, and business networking groups to nurture Carpet Tech brand and services awareness.
• Collaborate with business developers to cultivate commercial leads through community and commercial network activities and memberships.
• Represent Carpet Tech at various business events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
• Track and report on the success of community engagement initiatives and sponsorship activations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, community needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Uphold the values and reputation of Carpet Tech in all interactions with community members, partners, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in community relations, sponsorship, and event management, or related roles.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Proven ability to foster and sustain relationships between Carpet Tech, customers, and the communities served.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a keen ability to articulate Carpet Tech's values and services to diverse audiences.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on brand growth and expansion opportunities.
• Passion for delivering unparalleled customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
• Dedication to upholding Carpet Tech's reputation for excellence, integrity, and reliability in all interactions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to community service and philanthropy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
