What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Carriage Crossing Restaurant and Bakery?
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly manner
- Sweep or scrub floors
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
Skills:
- Experience in bussing or dishwashing in a restaurant or similar setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety guidelines
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
- Excellent time management skills
