Summary
JOB SUMMARY
Functions of the Patient Observer are to provide continuous close monitoring for behavioral management or protective management observation. The following behavioral patients may require a patient observer: suicidal precautions, suspicious/aggressive/threatening behavior, elopement precautions, psychiatric patients, patients under influence of alcohol or other substances. A patient observer may also be utilized in extraordinary circumstances, when routine interventions do not ensure patient safety.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma Preferred
Previous experience Required
CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider required
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Must have strong Communication Skills .
