Warehouse/Logistics Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of efficiently managing inventory, logistics, and personnel. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for optimizing processes and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining multiple warehouses and overseeing deliveries to customers homes, local businesses, and to active construction sites. This position will also manage the Warehouse staff and be in charge of scheduling deliveries, shipping and receiving. This position requires local driving, lifting, carrying, and walking.

This position also includes warehouse work that includes but is not limited to receiving inbound deliveries, off loading semi trucks, warehouse organization and cleanliness, and operating a forklift.

This is a salaried position with an expected 40 hours per week. Core hours will be Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break. Schedule is subject to change based on company need. Possible occasional overtime required.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures.
• Develop and implement streamlined warehouse processes to improve efficiency.
• Optimize layout and storage to maximize space utilization.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of warehouse operations with other business functions.
• Oversee receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Coordinate with staff and field technicians to optimize transportation and delivery processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to shipping or transportation delays.
• Utilize computer applications to track inventory and streamline processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology.
• Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must haves:

• A valid drivers license, with a clean driving record
• Reliable means of transportation
• Able to repetitively lift 50 lbs or more
• Able to repetitively bend, stoop, and squat
• Ability to abide by all company policies and procedures
• Great customer service skills
• Ability to critically think and make decisions on the fly
• Display good character with outstanding ethics and morals
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Have a clean and neat appearance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
