Janitor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to a stringent cleaning schedule.
• Clean and Sanitize offices, bathrooms, and Breakrooms.
• Dust, Take Trash out
• Pick up trash.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, Floors
• Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift
• Change out rugs and mats
• Restock paper products and soaps
• Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of shift.
• Inspects equipment for cleanliness and repair and personally corrects issues found.
• Strive for continual improvement in processes and functions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• REQUIREMENTS:
• Physical strength and dexterity to operate necessary equipment and perform all required cleaning duties, i.e., lifting up to 35 lbs., standing, stooping and bending.
• Knowledge of the standard methods, equipment and supplies used in large-scale janitorial activities of the services preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety rules and regulations including MSDS preferred.
• Ability to operate and use tools and equipment of the janitorial service
• Ability to maintain cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Must be a steady, reliable worker with a high degree of customer service acumen.
