The CARSTAR Chantilly Auto Body Group is adding shops and growing as part of a 700 location group across North America. In Northern Virginia, we looking for Parts Specialists in the Warrenton area.
Our group has 9 shops in Northern Virginia area and we are growing. There is a lot of growth in the Parts Department and also numerous individuals have started in the Parts Department and transferred to the Paint Dept, Body Tech Dept, or become Estimators. You are in control of your career!
Parts Department Associate
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Parts Associate will be responsible for assisting technicians and estimators in identifying and bringing needed parts and supplies to collision repair technicians.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Tracking incoming and outgoing parts for a collision center.
- Pulling and re-stocking inventory in parts dept.
- Packaging and shipping parts back to the vendors from time to time, and completing the appropriate record keeping.
- Learning the vehicles repair flow thru the shop.
- Learn all parts of 100 models of vehicles.
- Invoicing of parts to Repair Orders.
- Communicate in a clear and professional manner.
- Participate in all training programs that are offered.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Prefer candidates to have experience in an auto parts role but not necessary.
- Must be able to lift and organize boxes in excess of 40 lbs. in a warehouse environment.
- Must have computer proficiency.
- Must have reliable transportation to arrive to work on time.
- Must be team oriented.
- Must be able to maintain good internal customer satisfaction.
