PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Reporting directly to the Director of Donor Center Collection Services, this position is responsible for performing advanced administrative functions for members of the Collection services team with primary emphasis on supporting the activities of the Collection Services Director(s). This position requires flexibility and creativity and should be supportive, trustworthy, motivated, and a self-starter. Regular full-time attendance is required during office hours and overtime may be required occasionally.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma
- Some College a plus
EXPERIENCE
- 2-4 Years of experience in administrative functions
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Requires basic mathematical skills to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to prepare/understand reports and trends.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Work closely and harmoniously with Carter BloodCare’s management team.
- Excellent internal/external customer service skills.
- Ability to make appropriate decisions based on available information; maintain focus, and direction; and demonstrate flexibility as conditions warrant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher as well as other software as required. Develop forms, reports, spreadsheets, posters, signs, certificates, etc., as needed.
