DEFINITION OF POSITION

The primary function of this position is to perform corrective, restorative m and preventative cleaning procedures to facility floors, walls, furniture, ceiling surfaces, etc. The outcome of these procedures helped to improve appearances of the facility, extend the life of valuable capital expenditures, this reducing the cost of replacement. The Environmental Services Project Technician maintains assigned areas by performing the following duties: strip and finish floors, extract carpets and furniture, scrub tile, bonnet buff carpets, spray buff floors, clean ceiling/walls, windows, window covering, vents, lights, cubicles and perform minor inter hospital movement of furniture. The incumbent is also responsible for other special request for cleaning. This position will be utilized to accomplish project duties, and to assist the department in meeting regulatory compliance standards. Project may also be asked to perform any of the duties of Environmental Services. The employer reserves the right to modify and add to your job duties. Management may ask you to perform other duties that are outside of your normal descriptions.
