Supervises RNs, UCs and other Patient Care Services Employees. Responsible to Director of Cancer Treatment Services.

DEFINITION OF POSITION

The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients receiving treatment/services in the Raab Clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional
-
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.

Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
-
Certification in Oncology or obtained within 2 years (required if caring for oncology patients and/or administering chemotherapy).

Competency trained in Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Administration or equivalent within 6 months after hire if administering chemotherapy.

Two years medical/surgical or critical care experience.
