Responsible to Materials Manager

DEFINITION OF POSITION
-
This person interacts with nursing staff, department managers and other hospital departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and inventory. Works with hospital’s Materials Manger and Supply Coordinator to maintain and ensure proper par levels utilizing the Pyxis electronic inventory system. The supply technician will also assist in receiving of materials, supplies, annual inventory and other projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional

High school graduate
-
Basic computer skills to include a working knowledge of Windows, prefer Excel and Word experience

Office skills to include operation of FAX machines, copy machines, printers and office phones

Current North Carolina driver’s license with good driving record

Medical Supply experience helpful
