The IT Support Analyst position is responsible for creating, maintaining, and supporting, the systems, software, and technical processes of our corporate employees and managed clients.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in general IT operations and client support. This includes answering support calls, recording the details of support issues in the support ticket system, recording resolutions to support issues, and billing out support time when necessary.
- Building and supporting Desktop and Laptop computers for corporate employees and managed clients.
- Maintaining and Documenting client’s computer systems and networks.
- Build and maintain relationships with other departments and clients to help provide a friendly and timely support environment.
- Participate in planning and implementing system upgrades and improvements.
- Visit client sites for troubleshooting, support, and repair.
- May be requested to participate in after-hours maintenance, patching, and service emergencies.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of the current telecommunications solution.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in technology.
- Adhere to the company’s confidentiality policies.
- Able to lift 40-50 lbs. as necessary.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office products especially Office 365
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
- Familiarity with networks, switches, routers, and cabling
- Familiarity with (VOIP) telephone systems
- The ability to work in a team environment and on independent projects.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- High attention to detail in planning, reporting, and execution of assigned work
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and equipment maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree in computer related field or equivalent education/work experience, is preferred.
