What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Gymnastics Coach position at Cartwheels Gymnastics Center?
Cartwheels is looking for preschool gymnastics coaches. If hired, we will train you!
We are moving to a bigger space in Halfmoon at the end of August and need new coaches.
The Cartwheels Little Flippers program is a recreational gymnastics gym for younger athletes ages one to six years. If you have any of the following qualifications, we'd love to meet you!
- Personal athletic experience in gymnastics, tumbling, acrobatics, aerial arts or similar sports or disciplines
- Experience teaching preschool or early child development
- Experience or aptitude teaching, coaching, supervising or working with children
- Relevant education/coursework in child development, education, physical education or other similar studies
Shifts are roughly 3:15pm to 7:00pm Monday through Thursday. Saturday is 8:15am to 12:30pm. We are working towards adding Sunday classes. When added shifts will be around 10am to 1pm. Saturday and/or Sunday morning availability is required.
Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
$20 an hour or more applies to candidates 18 years or older. 16 and 17 year old staff start at $17 per hour.
