What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hearing Aid Dispenser position at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare?
Responsibilities:
- Performs hearing screenings, including otoscopy, air conduction, bone conduction, and speech testing.
- Performs earmold impressions, hearing aid consultations, hearing aid orientations, and Real-Ear-Measurements (REM).
- Performs hearing aid checks and troubleshooting for scheduled and walk-in patients.
- Quality control and process of new and repaired hearing aid devices and equipment.
- Provides appropriate treatment plans and counseling/education for patients.
- Assist with other department duties as requested by the program director.
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser in the state of California (proof of active license).
- Previous work experience with infants, children, and adults.
- Experience with third-party hearing aid companies.
- Experience with a variety of hearing aid manufacturers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hourly Range of $30-$33.
Salary : $30 - $33
